National Technical Honor Society | Education

Laurel High School Career and Technical Center started a National Technical Honor Society chapter this year. Students were inducted into NTHS during an evening ceremony on March 26. To be inducted into NTHS, students had to meet the following qualifications: have an overall 3.0 GPA; be enrolled in a LHS Career and Technical Center program; have 95 percent school attendance; and excellent citizenship.

NTHS honors the achievements of top Career and Technical Education (CTE) students, provides scholarships to encourage the pursuit of higher education, and cultivates excellence in today’s highly competitive, skilled workforce. Over $200,000 in scholarships is awarded annually to its members.
